Canadian Experience Class
Visas Avenue provides support for various Canadian immigration programs, such as the Provincial Nominee Program and the Express Entry System, among others, that are considered to be the most important. These programs require specific documentation to be submitted.
If you have resided in Canada for a significant period under a student or temporary work permit, and you meet the language requirements in English and French, you may qualify to apply for permanent residency through the Canadian Experience Class.
Who are Eligible?
To be eligible for consideration as a skilled immigrant, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Familiarity with the skills indicated in the National Occupation Code (NOC), including knowledge of management positions (NOC skill type 0), occupations (NOC skill type A), and occupations requiring technical skills and skilled crafts (NOC skill type B). It is necessary to have worked full-time in the occupation for at least 12 months during the three years prior to entry.
- Previous job experience in accordance with the visa’s permission to work standards.
- Attainment of the required level of language proficiency in either English or French. The language prerequisites vary depending on the desired skilled employment category:
- -For professionals in Category 0 and A, a minimum English score of 6.0 is required in all IELTS modules.
- -For the French course, prerequisites include a minimum score of 309 in Speaking, 248 in Listening, 206 in Reading, and 309 in Writing.
- -Professionals in Category B must meet the following requirements: a score of 4.0 in Reading, 5.0 in Writing, 5.0 in Speaking, and 5.0 in Listening.
- -Speaking French requires a total of 225 points, while Listening requires 180 points, Reading requires 150 points, and Writing requires 225 points.
